MMU2 Mystery Blinking

Hey all, finally got my MMU2 w/ my MK3 somewhat working. I was able to get ~ 1/2 way through the pre-sliced demo sheep when my MMU2 went off in the weeds. After poking around the forum I think my problem is connection to the MK3 board related ( https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/1377 ) but I didn't seen any specific information on LED status, so more or less just looking for some confirmation if possible.

The MMU was printing with filament 1 but when I found it stopped the filament 2 led was blinking red. Hard to gauge the blink speed, I know there is diff statuses for fast and slow blinks, but I would categorize it as a mid speed, which makes me think its prob the slow speed. What confuses me is whats up with the wrong filament slot showing the error? It was trying to back out the filament 1 to (i assume) load filament 2. It had gotten the filament out of the extruder bodwen gears and into the orange ptfe tube when I found it. So it should have been the easy home stretch here.

Pressing buttons on the unit didn't do anything noticeable except stop blinking for short periods of time. None of the MMU motors were warm, so I assume they hadn't been used in a bit. I cancelled the print before finding the forum threads about the connection issue, so I didn't try restarting the MMU and didn't try to move any of the motors on the MMU to see if they were free moving.

Does the off by 1 LED status mean something? Or did my MMU just really drop the ball and show the status on the wrong LED?

Firmware Versions:
- MMU2 v1.0.3
- MK3 v3.5.0

Thanks for your help!

Re: MMU2 Mystery Blinking

I'm quite not sure what exactly happen, a video could help alot.
Middle blinking means slow. So it had an error during loading the filament 2 in the selektor.
If you press the middle button for about 2sek the pulley motor starts running and tries to load to filament in slot 2.

As far as I read, the filament in tube 1 is still loaded? Where was the selektor? Still in position 1?
How looked the filament? Was there probably little strings on the head? Or in the selektor? This could block the sensor.
What about the filament. How was the quality of the filament? Where there a crack?
