MMU filament loading grinds when printing, not when calibrating?
I have tinkered with my MK2.5 MMU2 printer a few days now, and I am having what I must say is a strange problem.
When calibrating each color to the length of the ptfe tube, I load and retract the filament alot and there is never any grinding, and no problem with the filament loading at any position.
If I however either use a pre-sliced gcode (sheep for example) or slice a model myself in Slic3r, the filament grinds when loading.. every time.
Is there a speed difference when loading the filament to the extruder when calibrating vs printing? I have no idea why there would be a difference between the two situations..
can I somehow tweak the speed at which the filament is loaded to the extruder by the mmu, matching the speed when calibrating?

Hello Klaus,
Yes, you can. Set the "Loading speed at the start" to 15-20mm/s. It should remove grinding almost completely.

Didn't work, though..
at what speeds does the filament load at the individual filament calibration in service mode? anyone know? When loading and unloading at that particular speed there is no grinding at all.. I find it very strange that grinding actually happens at speeds lower than the ones used here..
It's almost like the filament gets loaded differently when in service mode.. other stepper motor values or something..
