Mk3S to MMU2S upgrade. Misalignment between "ilder-body" and "ilder"

Upgrade Mk3S with MMU2S.
4-Idler body assembly.
Step 13-Extruder motor assembly (part 3).

Just before "Inserting the shaft 5x16sh into the idler-body", as I manually turn the idler, the idler hole and the idler-body hole get misaligned (they no longer coincide by almost 2mm). That is, the idler-body and the idler do not stay aligned when the idler rotates.

Is this correct?

If I force the shaft to insert, there will be a great stress that maibe would tend to bend parts.
Of course, the base of the motor and the ilder-body are perfectly aligned.

The first photo is fine. In the following, as it is rotated, the misalignment increases.

Did you check the hole on the other side where the motor connects to the idler. The way that it is printed there could be some material that needs to be cleaned out.

If this hole is clean than I would fit the 5x16sh shaft first and than tighten the 2 screws holding the idler to the motor. After that check if it turns without much resistance.

Even with a little alignment problem the motor and idler should be fine. They are only used when changing filament and when used they rotate less than 360 degrees. It is not like an z, y or extruder more that make constant rotations.

But if you doubt it will be fine you can contact support. The chat button is in the lower right corner of the Eshop. You may need to be logged in and turn of adblockers if it doesn't show up.

I inserted the motor shaft into the idler hole with no problem. Both screws are slightly tightened. I can't find where the problem is. I assembled the M3KS by myself. I think this should be a little easier.

Thanks Baklin
