Loading and unloading TPU in a MMU2S

Hey Everyone,

I assemble my mmu2s the other days and i tried printing with pla and all seems fine.

So I decided to up my game by adding a little tpu into the mix and then disaster happens.
My mmu2s seems to have alot of trouble loading and unloading. I will try to explain what I did.

On the slicer end:

  • -I created a custom filament setting for TPU.
  •  Printer setting all extruder changed to 0.6mm nozzle with 0.15 and 0.4 layer height limit
  • Printer setting Extruder (x) - 0 retraction
  • Plater:  For my print, i selected the extruder with the tpu loaded.

Printer:

  • 0.6 mm nozzle
  • I release the idler screw to the bondtech as loose as I can.
  • I have the two tension screw on mmu2s loose but enough to load the TPU.

Have I miss anything? or someone has a procedure that work with TPU that they were able to successfully print?
I have been getting Jam or mmu2s give me a flashing warning.

Looking forward to hearing from others who have more experience with the mmu2s.
Cheers
