Front PTFE holder assembly and tubes orientation: are we sure that the manual is correct?

I have a question about the correct orientation of the little PTFE tubes inside the front holder: https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/5.+Pulley+body+assembly/1040?lang=en#s18170
The manual says that the tubes must be inserted with the chamfered ends facing out, towards the selector, as seen in the image:

Could someone explain me why they are put in this way? Should not be better if the chamfered ends were facing towards the pulley body, from which the filaments comes in, to have a smoother insertion?

My hypothesis seems to be confirmed also by the Prusa guide on how to trim PTFE tubes ( https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/How+to+trim+PTFE+tube+-+Original+Prusa+i3+printers/500?lang=en )

If that is true, then Step 13 of the Pulley body assembly guide is wrong.

I think the orientation in the manual makes sense.

During operation, the filament is never inserted into those ptfe tubes. They stay in them the whole time unless something has gone wrong.

However, when the filament is unloaded the tip gets pulled back into the ptfe tube. Often the tip of the filament is slightly wider than the rest of the filament. Having the chambered end on that side would help with the tip being pulled back in.
