filament change issue

I am setting up my mmu2s and having issues with filament change. Every time it changes it thinks it has filament left in the sensor. I check and nothing, then I press the knob and it begins loading. Once the filament makes it out of the hot end I press the knob and it begins to wipe but pushes out a excessive amount of filament. Not sure if its an adjustment to the FINDA or something else in settings. I have loaded the latest FW and can run single color prints no problem.

RE: filament change issue

If the MMU keeps feeding filament while it is already in the extruder I would have a look at the filament sensor in the extruder.

Once the filament is in the extruder it should trigger the filament sensor. And that would make the MMU stop feeding and the extruder wait for further instructions to start extruding.

If the sensor isn't triggered the extruder will keep turning for a while and only stop if it takes to long to load the filament.

Have a look at the "ir filament sensor calibration" in the handbook.
