Z axis jamming into heatbed after full bear upgrade
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, but I finished assembling my MK3 with the Full Bear Frame upgrade. when I tried doing a self test the nozzle tried embedding itself in my heatbed. I've verified that the hotend is in the extruder correctly and that nothing is getting in the way of the upper z axis. I've downgraded my firmware to 3.3.1 for now, but I've run out of ideas for things to fix. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like during the Bear mods you installed the PINDA wrong/incorrect/ or otherwise have it misaligned. What do the Bear Mod instructions say to do?
Re: Z axis jamming into heatbed after full bear upgrade
Sounds like the pinda is not working. Check the led on it comes on if you put something metal under it.
Also are you doing the full re-cal after the build?

The PINDA is on and triggers when I put something metal up to it so I'm not sure if that's it. I wiped the old calibration and tried doing a new one which is when it hit the heatbed.

PINDA is too high.

Hi, had the some issue one week ago. I run into this issue after MK3 - MK3S update. Finaly found out, that cable of PINDA was broken. It is tricky because PINDA failed not all the time. If fixed the issue by cutting the cable and solder a new one. So printer is running again until the new PINDA will be delivered. My MK3 failed after 45 days (time in the statistics menu). Weak point at my printer is the part directly behind extruder cable holder on the way to EINSY.
