Using 2,85mm filament in my prusa mk3s+

Hi! I have a friend who can source me free 2,85mm filament but prusa uses 1,75mm. If I change to a v6 2,85mm hotend and change prusaslicer settings could I print with that filament?? Or do I need to change the motor, plastic pieces etc…
many thanks 🙏

I'm learning and I can make mistakes or ask dumb questions, sorry about that

You'd have to make so many changes, including drilling out plastic pieces, adjusting gears and filament sensor, modifying firmware to make it all work, etc etc, that you'd probably be better off getting a different printer...
