USB Hub Options (Raspberry Pi & Palette 3 Pro) MK3S+
I haven't quite found a topic about this yet. Hoping that this is possible. I have a MK3S, RPI 3B, & Mosaic Palette 3 Pro. I am wanting them to all work together. Since the Palette 3 is designed to plug directly into the printer, I have to unplug my RPI to use it. Any thoughts on adding a USB hub to the MK3S?
I know the Palette 3 can run in accessory mode, however I do not want to use that option. I would like to be able to run my RPI and my Palette at the same time.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A regular USB hub can't work as the printer is a USB device, not a USB host. They do make things to switch the device between two computers: search for USB A/B switches. Only one computer will see the device at a time. As far as I know, they all require you to press a button on the switch to make the change.

Okay thanks. I didn’t think the hub would work and was looking at the switch option.

Linux is perfectly capable of hosting a usb device over tcp/ip and from what little I know about Palette, it's capable of connecting to a usb device over tcp/ip. Seems pretty straight forward.
