TPU bearing holders on Y-Carriage - Possible?
Hello,
I will upgrade the bearings on my Prusa MK3S to Misumi and will also change the U-clamp with a printed bearing holders on the Y-carriage.
Now, would it be a good idea, to print the 3 holders in TPU 98A hardness with 100% infill. The part would be pretty hard, but would still absorb some vibrations.
Is this a good idea, or would it be better to print the holders in PETG or ASA?
Thanks.

I would worry about the TPU soften too much during operation. Remember the Y-carriage below the head bed also gets pretty hot during printing.

What Guy said. I experimente with PLA bearings at one point (sleeve inserts in metal shells) and they didn't last for that reason; they seized up after a few PETG prints just from ambient heat.

OK thanks, I would then print the holders in ASA.
