T10 TR10X2 LEAD SCREW
So i have these lead screws that are 10mm with a 2mm pitch, 1 start, and 2mm lead. Basically 4 times the resolution of the stock mk3s. I was going to put them on my biqu b1 but I ordered new IDEX kit bigtreetech cameout with which is the wifi motherboard runing reprap with a second independant extruder. Had a launch deal where you get both for 80 bucks like 2 months ago. So im not going to be puting these lead screws on it anymore and I have some above average HGR15 LINEAR RAILS That I'm about to put on my Gummy Bear(I call it gummy BEAR because i made it a bunch of different bright colors like a bag of gummy bears) and figured if im doing that might as well get better resolution. I kind of went overboard with spending for the PRUSA this week and also got the LGX bondtech with the prusa flexible add on, The Hemera extruder as well as the the whole copperhead and DYZE hot end. Been wanting to try that out for a while now just need a mound for it. Oh did i mention I also that i should be getting my Prusa mini this week, my Duet3 6hc with 3hc add on with the 7inch panel duet as well as the lerdge k board with all the fixings( they have that deal on Aliexpp. for 120 you get basically all the addons with the board. See this is what happens when you get divorced and hit midlife crisis during lock down, you go broke buying printers. Side tracked.... So anyone think its a bad idea to change to acme lead screws with such high resolution or go for it? I think i could have some killer prints with the higher temp materials with such a resolution and the high temp hotends with a 0.3 or 0.2 nozzle. Anyone already do this upgrade to such lead screw?

A link to what? I listed like 5 different things there. The lead screw i was talking about is from amazon. One of the few with a 2mm pitch. most are 8 or 4. not many 2mm

You are asking for support on a product or products that are not Prusa. If you want help from the forum, it might help if you post links or are a bit more specific.

@goran-m
What you are describing is no longer anything related to a Mk3 ... Frankenstein's Monster is a better description. Probably should post this question in some other User Mods forum to get a meaningful response.

Not sure he will get it there either.

These lead screws. I know they're too long. Was going to cut them down to size and I know I would have to recompile firmware just don't want it to completely change the way the printer works. Just figured might get better detail in prints
