Show remaining time in Octoprint
With the current release of Slic3r and firmware, I can now see fairly accurate time remaining on the printers display. When I use Octoprint, it still shows the inaccurate Octoprint estimations.
Is there a setting or plugin for Octoprint/Octopi that will allow Octoprint to show the time remaining from the M73 entries in the GCode rather than it's own estimation?

Have you tried any of the analysis plugins like printtimegenius?

I've been playing with it, but I've never had a huge issue as long as the estimates were within 20-30 minutes...

A note, it seems that those plugins only work when printing from Octoprint. If printing from the SD card, and using Octoprint to monitor only, they will not work. We would need a new plugin that would look for the M73 commands and update the print time.

I hadn't considered that. Why would anyone even do it that way?

I downloaded PrintTimeGenius and had a look through the source code. I found no evidence that it looks at M73.
Since the developers of Slic3r clearly put a lot of effort into print time estimation, and the fact that I usually find it extremely accurate, I would love to be able to see this data in Octoprint.
I almost always print through Octopi and rarely use the SD card.
And while it's not extremely important that print time estimates be completely accurate, I like to take full advantage of the capabilities of the software whenever possible. Sometimes it's just nice to make something better or more accurate because you can, not just because it's essential to making prints.
