Remote printing options - connected to another PC
Hello all,
I've had my MK3 for about a month now and love it so far!
I'm trying to set it up so I can print right from slic3r instead of having to do the SD card swap.
I have the printer connected to USB on another PC (which happens to be my media center PC - might as well make dual use of it!)
I know there are guides out there, but they all seem to be geared towards using a R-PI.
Does anyone else have a setup like this? Can you offer any suggestions on the best way to do this?

I have my connected PC running Octoprint instead of using a Raspberry Pi. It works just fine. There are step-by-step instructions on the Octoprint website for installing on a Windows or Linux machine.
It works just fine, but I still send all of my files to the SD card (which is very slow) before printing the file from the SD card.
