Prusa MK3 PSU in Enclosure?

Would it be enough to mount a fan on the PSU instead of having it outside of the enclosure? I already have LEDs in there running on 12v so I could run the fan from the same source. I found some 80mm fan mounts ready on thingiverse and its probably not that hard to make some kind of funnel mount for 120/140mm for better airflow with low noise (printer probably makes more anyway).

I built the IKEA Lack enclosure, but it seems to be a lot of work to move the PSU to outside the enclosure. It looks like most of the cables need to be rerouted, they are currently routed as the manual suggested. And the table stands in a corner (lower part covered on all sides) where if I mount it under the table I wont be able to see it. It would also hard to reach to turn on/off and dont really know how hot it would get under there.

What it looks like right now

The power supply is already running near its limits. I would recommend moving it outside of the LACK enclosure rather than attempting to run it at higher ambient with a fan.

The cables are not that difficult to reroute. Just take your time and undo one zip tie at a time as you free the PS cables. Replace each zip tie as you go along.

The PS cables are a bit too short as supplied to reach the Prusa designd power supply mount. Some of extended the cables or replaced them with longer leads. I found it much simply to open the flat plastic portion of the PS cover and melt a hole in the side wall of the cover to allow rerouting of the cables to exit near the power switch.

By changing the exit point of the cables, you no longer lose 10 cm routing the cable around the power supply. The cables go out and straight up to the LACK enclosure cable entry slot. Add a velcro strap to fully secure the power supply in its LACK mount.

Reaching around to the back of the enclosure is easy.

Im printing some ABS and the PSU is really hot almost uncomfortable at the top even though its standing outside of the enclosure. I pointed a fan at it and it cooled it right down to comfortable temperatures, slightly warm to the touch. I can maybe get a mount to go at the back of one of the legs but its really close to the wall, there just is no good place to put it.
I was hoping that someone would have already tried with a fan, I will probably do some testing with a fan inside the enclosure before I decide to move it, especially if the cables are to short.
