Preparing printer for ABS/nylon/etc?
I have an i3 Mk3s+, and some projects I have in mind necessitate printing in high-temperature materials like ABS and nylon. As I understand it, preparing a Mk3s+ for printing at such high temperatures requires more than just sticking it in an enclosure. My current plan is:
•Upgrade to Mk4
•Build/buy enclosure
•Relocate power supply and everything else non-essential outside the enclosure
Is there anything else I should consider? For instance, should the print head components be reprinted in a material other than PETG? And if so, what material? Should I also consider nozzle cooling upgrades? And what else am I missing?

Upgrading to a Mk4 is not required; the Mk3S+ is perfectly capable. Enclosure yes. Relocating power supply--maybe. I print a fair bit of ASA and PCCF, never bothered to relocate the power supply and haven't had any issues. Maybe I'm just lucky... if I printed those materials all the time, I probably would.
Reprinting parts. The two parts I had to replace because they started warping are the PINDA holder and the heatbed cable cover. I reprinted them in PCCF.

Right, yes. More specifically, the upgrade to the Mk4 is more of a "while I'm in there" kinda thing. Or rather, it's kinda 50/50, I want to upgrade just as much as I want to also prepare it for ABS printing, and it only makes sense to perform both of these surgeries at the same time.
