OctoPrint vs Card.. Any ways to analyze GCode?
1) Ive searched a ton... The following is what I believe to be fact.. please only add to this is YOU KNOW what you're talking about. there are way too many threads with responses that are clearly incorrect or offer nothing.
2) It appears there is a point at which the 115K baud of the serial becomes an issue on complex prints, but I cant find any info defining at what point that is. There is a mention of an adjust ment to a slic3r setting at Print Settings->Advanced->Resolution but what setting would keep the serial speed in check is not listed. It would be nice to know what these are, if in fact this is true... however see #3
3) Is there any way to tell if the GCode is too complex for a perfect print via OctoPrint serial? A program to analyze the GCode? Or something in SILC3R?
3b) If someone could explain to me the math and the commands to look at I could easily write an OSX utility that would do #3
3c) But even better would be something built into OctoPrint or SLIC3R
