new vesconite bushings on X axis - sticking, vibrating print head

prusa mk3S+

I put the vesconite bushings in the X axis, and the bushings created a lot of stickiness, once the axis is in motion it moves smoothly without too much force, but the static force required to start it moving is significant. Enough that the printhead generates lots of vibration when printing, but it behaves normally when the head is moving quickly.

Suggestions?

I let it try  a print to break them in, and it improved a little bit, but it still sticking.

Less relevant info below:

I had my original rods and bearings fail, and then the replacements from prusa started scratching the rod after far less time than they should have lasted. Maybe I need to reconsider my lubrication for linear bearings?  I only used sewing machine oil as lubricant and I didn't de-grease/repack the linear bearings before installing. 

I want simple if possible, and I don't like the idea of replacing nice linear bearings regularly when bushings should last at least at long as my bearings have been lasting if not longer.

Found another article about bushings being held too tightly and having alignment issues.  So I cut my zip ties holding the bushings into the print head and loosened the screws holding the bushings in place to just barely finger tight.  And that stopped most of the stickiness, and there was no more vibration.  So now I need to find a way to align the pair of upper X axis bushings in the print head more precisely to minimize any possible slop in the system.

As a related question is there any polymer bushing friendly lubricant that would also help?
