My feel good mods
Over the last two weeks I've been thinking about mods, my MK3S is printing fantastically, but the unsupported wires coming out of the X axis motor really set off alarm bells for me, and I liked the cooling fan shroud on the MK3 more than the one on the MK3S.
So been looking around, found a strain relief for the X motor I liked the look of, and the same for the cooling shroud.
Also picked up some E3D silicone covers for the heat block, just to see if they do help with more constant temps and keep the heat block cleaner.
Don't remember where I picked up the stls, probably on the thing, I'll list the names of the stls and people can search for them.
Prusa_i3_MK3_X-axis_motor_cable_strain_relief.stl
Printed in black PETG, this should really be a standard part....
RHD_CS_Nozzle.stl
Printed in clear PETG, figured clear would absorb the least amount of radiant heat.
