My enclosure is FINALLY finished.
After roughly two weeks of tinkering, printing, reprinting, wiring, testing, a catastrophic collapse of the entire enclosure, and a full rebuild; my enclosure is done. I will be moving it indoors into my office area tomorrow. Wanted to share pictures of my build and add on's (and a few cringe photos, too! ) Funny how you look at a lack enclosure online and think to yourself, "Oh- that cant be to hard....Just some plexi, Ikea Tables and some printed parts!" YEAH; NO!
Hope you enjoy my photos, looking forward to the feedback.
All the pics EXCEPT the last 3 are the current iteration. The last 3 are the crash and what it looked like mere minutes before it all happened.

Done!
Needs cable mgmt
Octolapse Cam
Lower deck thermo
Upper deck thermo (Probe mounted underneath the top) Heat rises....
Tinted Plexi and dual door magnet/latches. Closes with a very satisfying SNAP!
Tool Storage
1m ribbon cables for the LCD; factory ones tore in the accident (see below)
Modded printermods.com LED for the hotend- SO much better! Really recommend this to all.
Tried out 3 different spool holder iterations and landed on this style. Liked it the best.
Lower shelf is also lit up.
Last of the current iteration.
This was my "Version 1" if you will. Mere moments before I tried to move it and caused this:

Thanks for taking the time to read and look!

Blessed be all!\\Dana

Don't know why no one has replied.. I liked the idea, to bad it wasn't sturdy enough.

hope the printer survived and you can make V2 work 🙂

Beautiful and well thought out design. You have certainly invested a lot of time. I wish you many successful prints with it!

happy printing 👍

Can you comment more on what looks like an LED on the extruder?  I just hit 'submit' on an purchase of a cheap LED strip that will be powered from the PS-24v supply but that LED printer might work out better.

@reh

Thankfully it did! I had to reprint one z axis cap and replace the ribbon cakes to the lcd.

Yup. It's the 24v printermods.com hotend led. Just cut the "quick connect"ran on it, and ran wire all the way to the 24v @ the PSU. Easypeasy.

@dragon1291

I had some 16 gauge wire laying around in my garage already. You can get it cheap on Amazon if need be. 16, 18 or even 20 gauge will work.
