Looking for a camera for Pi Zero W

Does anyone know if this camera will work with the PRUSA edition OctoPrint for Pi Zero W?

Re: Looking for a camera for Pi Zero W

I would not recommend buying the PI Zero W.

Get a full size pi.

I understand that you don't feel it's the best option.

However I already have one and would like to use it, I wanted to know if anyone had successfully used this camera or not.

Haven't used it myself, but since your question is about the camera package and not a Prusa, I'd suggest reading the comments on the Amazon page from people who've tried it. It sounds like a 5MP (vs 8MP for the newest official camera) and the stand is of dubious value. Having both Zero and B cables included is a nice touch, so possibly one less thing to buy.

I was thinking that the 5MP might be better and use less CPU and bandwidth for streaming.

You can turn down the resolution in software to accomplish the same thing with an 8MP. The Amazon comments didn't leave me with the impression that it's a stellar camera, but if saving $10 is more valuable than the time you might spend fighting with it, it's worth a shot.
