Klipper config for Prusa MK3S/+
Hi,
for those who want to try the Klipper, I've prepared the config. I'm running this config for a month, and I'm very happy with the results (same as stock Prusa) + what I like the most is the web interface and printing directly from the slicer.

are you using this style config. ive copied your files from github and set them up and getting a lot of parsing errors in mainsail. im trying your system instead of my known working (messy) config file. i like your nested idea and am going to try and migrate my config to it

Yes, I'm using the profile. Make sure that you have the latest Klipper as there were a lot of changes since the mainsailos was released.

Hi, im sorry im a noob on klipper things like this, but thank you for your config! Makes me more want to try klipper to my mk3s+
I have mk3s+ and i want to use my pi 3 B and klipperscreen for prusa
I know how to install mainsailOs & Klipper cause previously i use klipper on Ender S1
1. Can i just use usb from pi to usb on prusa board?
2. Can i wire from PSU to buck converter to supply power 5v 3a to pi 3B?
3. Does the Sdcard of prusa slot unusable when klipper already installed?
4. Can i still use prusa slicer and get best result? Or do you have any advise?

i followed your guide and this happends on the mainsailos.local

Hi,
My old octoprint died, I tried your config and I'am happy too. I have mk3s and rasp. 3 via usb.
No problem with it. I still printing some test objects.
Any tips what to do better in the future?
@kaisarantonn: Try manually clone repository to klipper_config as config folder and add config update prusa to moonraker.conf. In my case, it wasn't be downloaded automatically.

I now have all my machines running on klipper the I3mk3s+ being the last to be updated using your config - if I had not seen your post I might have invested in the MK3.9 upgrade from prusa so you have saved me a ton of cash - thanks again!! Still testing (PLA) the limits of speed acceleration etc so far pushed to double prusa slicer defaults with no decline in print quality or reliability. My gut feeling is that I might be able to push to 3xstock speed and still get acceptable results. I would highly recommend those that are doubtfull to give this config a try - you can always reflash back to stock if you need to!!!

Just a quick question, has anyone tried this on a Fsytec MK3S+ clone? the motors will obviously be different and the Rambo board will probably have some slight differences as well. Just wondering as I have a few I'm thinking of swapping over. Good to ask if someone has already tried it 🙂

So i hope this tread is still alive i installed everyting based on your config and everyting works on pi zero 2W over usb cable but when i try to make flash and use it on einsy pins i only get mcu error anyone have any idea what im doing wrong?

Thank you for this config. I have been using it for a few months now with no issues (at least not any directly related to your config). I am in the process of upgrading my MK3 to the Bear so I can achieve 10,000mm/s^2 accelerations (compared to ~5000mm/s^2) previously, and will post results here.

I use the normal Prusa MK3S+ profile with some modifications:
- Change firmware type to Klipper
- In machine limits, change how to apply limits to use for time estimate
- In machine limits, change the limits to match your Klipper config
- Set faster print speeds (if you want)

I finished doing the Bear Upgrade, and I was able to hit 15000mm/s^2 accel on x and 7500mm/s^2 on y, but because Klipper only supports one acceleration, I was stuck with 7500mm/s^2 accelerations when used with tmc_autotune. Besides that, I have noticed a decrease in ringing and a slightly quieter printer. Your config still works great, thank you for this.

You print at what velocity for thé out wall when you printing ?
Have you a e3d v6 like hotend ?

Usually for the outer wall I print at 200mm/s with 4500mm/s^2 accelerations (the max input shaper recommended to avoid ringing). My hotend is a Slice Engineering Mosquito with a CHT 0.6mm nozzle.
