Has anyone tried IKEA Metod?

...As an enclosure, that is. Search for 990.202.16 and you'll find it. I was thinking of getting that as a base, and then use the door from 490.478.69 (Bestå).

This should leave room for the MMU that's on its way. Plus filter, leds and other possible tweaks. I would have decent storage underneath for tools, filament, PSU and various stuff. It's a bit pricey, I know, but since I live in a small apartment it has to look good. My main concern though is vibrations. It looks sturdy enough from what I can tell of the material. Any thoughts and/or suggestions?

Yes, up and running. I will eventually fit a simple plexiglass door, as none of the IKEA doors really fits the Method

Oh, very nice! Would the MMU fit inside there? Have you looked at the door from Bestå? I was thinking of getting that just for the door. I know, not the cheapest solution, but I want a nice see through glass door.
