Fitting new extruder

Hi all,

I am going to shortly fitting a Recreus extruder to my MK3 - any top tips or advice be welcome ?
My hope is to be able to print flexibles well !

The downside I found to having a non standard extruder is having to edit and compile every new issue of firmware. No small consideration given the amount and frequency of firmware updates on the Mk3, and that is once you have discovered the firmware edits required for the new extruder length / speeds / etc.

Of course mounting the Pinda is something you will need to work out too.

Having said that the Recreus looks like a serious bit of kit and more than enough to get me interested. Please keep us updated on your progress. Good luck!

Is there a part cooling fan, on the Recreus setup?

does it need one?
