Cpe for extruder parts?
Recently remembered I have some filamentum red hood transparent cpe and wondered if the heat resistance is high enough to print the squirrel cage fan attachment parts on the extruder with it. I printed an lcd cover and a door for the einsy board with it so far at 270c 90 bed @ 0.2. Love this color.

Should work.
Carbon fibre composite - if you like it and it doesn't melt when printing itself ... you should be good to go
Carbon fiber?
Cpe is a high temp kind of petg if I remember right. I don't think it has carbon fiber in it. It's transparent red.

The test is can you print a print fan shroud using a shroud made of your CPE
Print a fan shroud. Then fit it to your printer. Then print something in ASA or ABS - doesn't need to be big. If you can print a high temp item with it, it's good to go. Do watch for smearing - where it doesn't melt in blobs, but just starts fading away at the edges.
No abs or Asa.
I don't have either of those filaments. My cpe is my highest temp material atm at 275c 90 bed. Would that be close enough? The fan shroud is the part on the squirrel cage fan on the front/bottom correct? Not the one for the square fan?

Yes, the squirrel cage ...
The fan shroud is the only part in the extruder assembly that needs to be high temp. The rest of the extruder body is plain old PETG.
How did it come out?
The fan shroud aims the fan on the front of the extruder body at the nozzle.
RE: Pretty good.
Been printing some cpe parts and they look pretty good. The fan shroud is doing great printing itself so far.
