Can I change Enclosure Humidity/Temp Display to Deg F?

Brand new user so I hope this is in the correct forum.

On the humidity and enclosure temp readout.....is there a way to change from Deg C to Deg F? I've been trying to search for the part number of the display so I can try to find a datasheet or anything that would give me a hint. Goggle and the search function have failed me. I removed the batteries and didn't see a switch under them. Any ideas if this can be done? I'd much rather have this display in unit I can understand. 😉

Thanks in advance.

Hi 4x4Dually,

I don't know if you found the answer to this, but I figured I would post the answer here also as this was the first post that showed up after doing a web search.

Skybox53 found that you have to take it apart and do a bit of soldering. The link is at Converting temperature LCD module from C to fahrenheit

I haven't tried it yet...maybe I'll just learn Celsius! 🤣

Thanks, Jim!!! I just now came back to the forum for some XL issues and saw where you had replied. I appreciate your link and my board was closer to the first image shown but still different from both a tad. I solder jumpered the two pads together and wallah!!! Now it reads F degrees! Still says "C" but it's correct in F.

It's no wonder these meters are dirt cheap. The soldering on them looks like it was done in a basement by someone who can't spell "flux" and wouldn't have the first clue what J-STD-001 is. That PWB is nasty. Makes my eyes twitch! LOL

This is the image that was closest to my device.
