Best Slic3r Prusa Edition settings for 1mm nozzle?
Hi all,
I have a 1mm nozzle attached to my MK3 with latest firmware and am using Slic3r Prusa Edition (V1.42.-alpha4+) and wish to improve the prints I'm getting.. I
Printing Prusa ABS (also tried PETG) and prints are sticking fine but the layering is blotchy and was wondering how I can tweak the settings to improve the print?
I've created a new 1mm 'Printer Setting' profile (copied from the stock '.6mm system preset') and the following screenshots are the changes I've made.
All tips appreciated 🙂
Cheers,
Michael

What do you mean by "the layers are blotchy"? Can you post a pic?
With 0.60mm layer heights, it will look rough and bridging and overhangs may be rough.
You can cut down the number of perimeters at that width to really benefit from the larger nozzle. Possibly top and bottom layers as well.
I'd try a lower 1st layer height as you want it to stick and cool evenly.
