At what temp will the parts around the nozzle melt or it will be bad?
Hi I am thinking about upgrading the hotend on my v6 mk3s+ with e3d (copper block, titanium nozzle, high precision heater cartage, PT1000 temp sensor ) then modify the firmware to allow higher temp maybe up to 400-500c.....
so my question is how hot will the heat block and the nozzle have to get to effect the petg parts on the hot end?
should i print in abs or polycarb or other and replace the parts?
have you upgraded your hotend and printed high temp material?
You're going to need to re-print the entire extruder body in ABS or PC blend
Those temps are going to be the end of your extruder body. As part of your prep, do re-print the entire extruder body in PC blend (ideal) or ABS-T (high temp ABS). That will give your high-temp experiment a chance of working for a while.

My fan shroud (I always assumed the stock one was ABS) deformed when doing a fairly long run of ABS prints (at default temperatures) so I printed a remixed one in PC Blend and it has not deformed after well over a year.
My question/concern would be along the line of the power supply and/or Einsy being able to heat and regulate the nozzle temperature to those levels.
In another thread it may have been discovered that there are some limits to the ability of the devices to heat the heat bed significantly higher than the 100-ish for ABS and 115-ish for PC Blend. I know that when printing PC Blend it takes quite a bit longer to get those extra 10 degrees or so, above the normal ABS temperature of 100.

I did get some Polimaker PC-Max i was also told to consider changing fan on chat, to print at higher temp any idea which, fanes heatsink fan and/or nozzle fan I can install that would work?
