Anybody got Arc Welder working with their i3MK3S/S+?

Tried it but the resulting prints are much worse than those printed without the plugin. Circular ring became irregular shaped ring. Almost smooth surfaces are no longer smooth.

I've got it installed. No perceptible difference in print quality, but files are much smaller, so should transfer over USB faster. I've read that even with G2/G3 enabled in firmware, the command get interpolated back to segments internally, so print quality may not improve on older controllers.

In my case, it deformed my prints badly. What Resolution in MM and Max Arc Radius did you set to? Checking the "overrides relative extruder mode" did not result in any noticeable difference.

Here's what I'm using:

  • Resolution: 0.05mm
  • Maximum Arc radius: 1000000
  • File processing type: Manual only

I think these are all defaults.

I haven't noticed any differences on either my Prusa i3 Mk3 or Artillery Sidewinder X1 printers other than the reduced file sizes.
