Upgraded Slic3r PE to latest version, now all my settings are gone?
Hello,
Yesterday I updated Slic3r PE to the latest version. At first, everything worked fine but when I start it now all my settings are reverted to the standards?! All the filament configurations I have created are gone, the gcode I have added to the printer, the OctoPrint API key etc.
Does anyone know what happened and where I can get the settings back?´
And yes, I did check "C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Slic3r" but it is empty except for a file "Slic3r.ini" which tells me the last version I had was "1.36.2-prusa3d-win64", in case it helps.
OK, seems like all is still there, but somehow Slic3r does not take them into consideration. They are under:
"C:\Users\Public\Documents\Prusa3D\Slic3r settings MK2"

OK. So it seems like in "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Prusa3D" the new version of Slic3r has created the same folders with "214" attached to it. So I copied my modified files into the new folders and now they can be used again.
