[Solved] Unable to get identical origin in STL exports from Fusion360

Hey there,

I searched on this topic but was never able to find a working solution. I am modeling with Fusion 360 and want to export STL files with identical origin.
For this to work I tried splitting the body into chunks, exporting them one by one making them invisible in Fusion. I tried to move them into different components, etc.
For some reason they never align in Slic3r.

I am sure I am missing something rather obvious.

Cheers,
Markus

Well, I figured it out myself.

In Slic3r you need to add one of the split STL files using the regular "Add" button. After that doubleclick the imported object and add the rest of the STL objects as additional parts.
Just wanted to share this in case someone else is wondering.

Cheers,
Markus

Hi Markus,
you can also select all of the parts at once and when you add them to the Multimaterial slicer it will check whether you want to consider them as individual elements or as a multimaterial model.
