Slic3r Prusa Edition and Layer Shifting

Is anyone else experiencing layer shifting with the Prusa Edition Slic3r? My settings are pretty much identical to the regular slic3r other then the "ensure wall thickness" option being enabled, and constantly get layer shifting at some point in a print. I was trying to print a lego man from thingiverse recently and started with the legs, then the arms. Both messed up by layer shifting, so I used the regular slic3r with the same settings/model, and both printed without any problems. Seems like something is wrong with the new Slic3r.

That seems pretty strange.

Do you have one of the faulty gcode to post it here please ? (you need to put it in a zip file for that). I'll give it a try.

I'm at work right now, but I'll post it when I get home tonight along with photos.

Ok, here is a photo of the lego legs, left side printed with regular slic3r, right with the prusa edition.

I'm attaching the leg gcode files for both in a zip.

Well, I had a look and it does not seems like there are any layer missing.

Are the two failed legs from the same print batch or are they from 2 different tentatives ?

They are from the same print. It seems to happen almost every time I use the Prusa version. Maybe something in the code just jerks the extruder more that causes this, I really don't know, but I won't be using the Prusa version again until it's fixed.
