Slic3r install questions - settings file not installed?
I have Slic3r running on my Mac and want it on another one. I can't seem to figure out how to get it configured as none of the settings show up. I installed the version from two places:
https://github.com/prusa3d/Slic3r/releases
and downloaded the MAC version.
Slic3r-1.33.4-prusa3d-full-201702151658.dmg
When installed it just shows -default for any of the Print Settings, Fiamnet, and Printer dropdowns instead of the Prusa settings. How doe sone configure this?
I also tried installing the one from the Drivers page here..

Same story installing that version.... no settings were installed. The Drivers page version seems have all the files but is not putting them where they need to be it appears. Wish there was a Readme or somthjing there but did not see that for installation help. Am I missing something here? shouldn't the install take care of this?

Start Slic3r and select "File->Load Config Bundle...". Navigate to the location where you unzipped the file downloaded from the drivers page and select the appropriate settings file (mk2_Slic3r_prusa3d_1_7_8.ini or mk2mm_Slic3r_prusa3d_1_7_8.ini).

Kevin - I'm glad you asked this question as I've been having the same issue with the Mac version of Slic3r. I finally figured out that I had to load the config file. You DO NOT have to do this with the Windows version which comes pre-configured which is what threw me off. It would have been helpful if PRUSA supplied two versions of Slic3r that were already pre-configured or at least provided a READ ME file explaining what to do or maybe one of their famous videos!
However, I do LOVE my PRUSA printer! It just keeps getting better.

You can still encounter this in Windows. The first time I just downloaded the zip, and extracted it and ran it, and this will not load the profiles. It appeared to be a pre-installed ZIP up, but I misinterpreted it, it does need to be installed.
