Newbie Needs Help!

I am creating 3d models using Autodesk Inventor 2015. I save my 3d models as an STL file. I am creating them in inches. When I import these files into PrusaControl they import very small. For example I made a 3" diameter by 3" tall cylinder in Inventor. I imported it to PrusaControl and it was tiny. You could barely see it on the print surface. Does anyone have an idea what I could be doing wrong?

Re: Newbie Needs Help!

most folk design in metric units to overcome this problem...
try scaling your models, 25,4 mm to the inch, slic3r can scale models, I have not tried it, in Prusa Control...

guess you could be the pioneer... 😀

"what I could be doing wrong?"
Nothing, Inventor exports models in mm by default.
You can easily change that by selecting inches as the units in the options for export to CAD format.
