Live Data

Hi everyone!
If somebody knows about a way to get live data about the printer, like the x, y and z position of the extruder, print progress (while the printer is printing anything), temperature, etc as an api, so I can later build applications which will automate and log info based on this data?
Thanks.

Re: Live Data

Use Octoprint. It has an API to send commands to the printer.

Re: Live Data

Pronterface (sometimes also called Printrun) is part of the drivers package and can show live data during a print as well. Not sure about API per se, but it's open source which could be helpful when writing your own utility.. http://www.pronterface.com/ or check your Prusa install directory..
