Errors Uploading Gcode to SD via Pronterface

Hi Everyone,

Just built my MK2S kit and its printing great =D

However I have encountered an issue when trying to load a G-code file (prepared using Slic3r) to the supplied Prusa SD card using the Pronterface SD>Upload function. The Gcode works fine if copying manually to the SD card using a card reader and when printing directly from Pronterface (Though I'd prefer SD printing in case my computer has issues mid print).

The first time I tried this (a few weeks back) the Prusa went into a weird state showing negative hot end and bed temperatures on the Prusa LCD. Just today I tried it again and Pronterface again threw multiple errors (console copy below) with the LCD showing the negative temperatures but this time Pronterface started displaying "echo: cold extrusion prevented" while the hot-end moved near the end of the x-axis and I heard one of the drives clicking at its limits (could have been x-axis or extruder but not sure) I powered off the printer thenpowered it back on to let the fans run.

Has anyone had an issue with the SD upload function causing something like this or might be able to assist with this issue?

Kind Regards,

Adam

Re: Errors Uploading Gcode to SD via Pronterface

The SD card that came with my Prusa had a little yellow switch on the side - if it's in the "LOCK" position, you can't write to it...just slide it over to the other end and you should be OK.
