Y motor judder

I've finished my build but find that the Y motor is stepping back and forth. All wiring checked, and tried motor without belt... same issue. Are there any other tests I can try. all other motors are perfectly OK.
Thanks
John

Re: Y motor judder

Swap X and Y motors in Rambo board. If the problem moves, it's the motor or its cable. If the problem stays, it's in electronics.

David, very many thanks. I just swapped the cables and the problem is definitely with the motor I't looks like a faulty motor.
Thanks,
John

You're welcome. I hope you'll manage the replacement easily.
Now when I read my previous comment again, I realize I swapped the conditions, but looks like you got it right. Excellent.

Got this sorted now. 😀
When treating the motor (for one last time), off the right it worked fine. Remounted and it didn't work properly. Traced the issue to a slight pinch in the cab longing inside the Rambo box... Adapted this a little and all motors working well now. They sure do have delicate wiring though.
