X gantry maintenance - how?

Anyone have a way to remove the X gantry for bearing maintenance without completely disassembling the whole freaking printer and throwing off all my careful calibration? Servicing the Y carriage is straightforward but X is locked in by the Z frame. I thought I'd just slide it off the end of the Z rods but the cable support on the back traps it inside the frame. So that would require pulling the Z motors but that has complications and risk. You can't remove the motor mount since the screws are blocked so you have to slide the motor out, but not enough slack in the wires so now you have to crack open the Rambo. It seems to be a slippery slope and giant pain. Am I missing something?

Cut the front cable ties holding the rods.

See this video, about 1min and 30 seconds into it.

Update. Disregard, wrong axis.

So is everyone mostly dissembling their printer to do any maintenance or upgrades? I see threads on replacing bearings and rods. There must be an easier way.

I've been printing daily since the start of the year and used about 7 spools.

In this time I've had one issue which was the fan went out because of the wire that disconnect in the cable harness which is why it has been redesigned in the mk2s.

My rods and bearings are still good and I have not done anything, not even add oil.

Your experience may differ base on these factors.

-Is your work environment dusty
-Are you print with an enclosure with higher temps
-Did you get a batch of faulty bearings (I've heard that Prusa switched vendors )
-Did you get a early batch of the rods (I've heard that Prusa switched vendors )
-Did you get a kit or the factory built ( I got the factory built )
-When you pull off the 3D prints, are your stressing the zip ties holding the bearings in place
-Did you have a massive print failure that stressed the belt
-If you lube the rods and bearings, what lube are you using ( Don't use the standard WD40 degreaser )

Now for an analogy. Let's say a car has a top rating. Some users will have problems which seems to be from improper use / knowledge. If there is a faulty design or a part with a high failure rate the user community will make the issue known and the car maker will issue a recall and in this regard Prusa has done the same with this forum and providing upgrades. Anyways my experience has been very good with the MK2.
