Won't extrude ASA & ABS (RESOLVED)

I’m at a loss here, and in need of some guidance.
Printing PLA and even ColorFabb XT materials works just fine, no issues at all.
BUT, printing ABS and ASA gives this strange under extrusion/or gear slipping.
Every “X” seconds, you see it does not extrude. The gear is still rolling, and it’s not slipping on the filament.
I tried 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 nozzles, and even a totally new E3D V6, complete kit. The issues is still there.
I tried slow extrusion speeds, same. Higher temperatures, same.
What in the world am I missing here?

Check the hobbed pulley for the extruder. I was having similar issues and it was really noticeable when doing prints that had to be slowed way down. I had a hole that developed in the pulley on the screw side. It is a known defect from a batch that Prusa got from the manufacturer. I went ahead and ordered a couple from Prusa's web shop and replaced mine and have had no problems since.

It would have been better if your video had shown the filament drive pulley; maybe that would give a clue.

Oh my god you are correct! There's a small area which is flat.

I get the same error. Feeling I better get some extruder gear back ups!
