I believe this is a contradiction in terms.

Live Z adjustments are made to vary the extruder height, relative to a fixed pinda position.
negative Live Z values move the extruder closer to the heat bed, Positive Live Z values will move the extruder further away from the heat bed,.

you don't adjust the live Z value directly by moving the pinda...

however moving the pinda body up and down will also affect the extruder to head bed alignment

SO... If I understand your question fully you want to get the extruder closer to the heatbed, by moving the Pinda probe!
if this is the case, you need to move the Pinda Probe body upwards relative to the extruder housing.
first of all, note the current live Z value...

Then slacken the lower pinda nut enough to be able to lift the pinda probe comfortably high enough to access the upper pinda probe nut...
then with the pinda probe raised, use a screwdriver or similar item to rotate the upper nut, downwards towards the plastic mounting attachment.
only move it a small amount at a time (maybe one flat of the nut (1/6th of a turn)), then move the pinda probe without rotating it, until the upper nut is located properly in the plastic mounting,then tighten the lower pinda nut to hold it in place.

once you have done this, re adjust the live Z to 0 and run the v2 calibration process until you have a reasonable squish at a reasonable liveZ negative value.

if the resultant Live Z value is still too large... then repeat as above...
at each attempt the new live z value should be a lower negative number.

Actually, my problem seemed to be that the required Live Z was outside of a reasonable value. However, trial and error revealed that somebody around here, (there's no one here but me) didn't actually screw the nozzle fully into the heat block when the whole hot end was swapped. 😳 Calibration working now. And I bet my heatblock won't get so much plastic stuck to it now. But thanks for your feedback.
