Two rows of boxes on the display after firmware update.

I received my prebuilt MK2 a couple of weeks ago and it has been working fine. Today I decided to update the drivers and firmware and everything appeared to be going normal but the display on the printer just shows two rows of solid boxes. The computer screen it was connected too gave me a firmware update successful message but nothing on the display. I can control the printer from Pronterface so there is communication between the two. I tried flashing it to factory settings and it will not do that either. Powered down, disconnected from the computer, reconnected, powered up, nothing.

Any suggestions? thanks in advance

Joe

This happened to me as well when I used the wrong version of the firmware. Once I figured out that I had the wrong one I used the correct version and everything came back to normal. There are two versions of the firmware, each intended for a different version of the rambo board. You probably need to update using the Rambo13a version and you used instead the Rambo10a version.

That is exactly correct. Once I made the switch it worked fine. Thanks for the help.
