Thick, removable PEI sheet

I'm wondering if anyone uses a thicker PEI sheet, that is not glued to the bed, but using bullfrog clips? I would like to try that, so it would be much easier to replace the sheet and to get objects off (take the entire sheet off the bed, and bend. Or put in freezer). How thick a sheet can be used with the pinda sensor, and where can I buy one (EU) ?

If you're lucky, the PINDA has a sensing distance of 1mm. In reality, it's more like 0,8mm. It's going to be a tad tricky to the the PINDa mounted just right for it to work. So that's your upper limit.

Unless you get creative and mount the sheet after the bed was leveled and you are using an offset. Basically same approach as when trying to print on glas, there's some threads about that here on the forum.
