stronger y-motor ?
My y-stepper is getting hot for longer prints. It's hotter than all the other motors.
I think this is caused by printing in an exclosure. The stepper is direct under the heatbed, so it's getting a lot of degrees from the bed 😉
What's about a bigger motor with more force ? Then I can reduce the current with such a stronger motor, so it's keeping cooler ?

Josef himself stated in some other post that motors can work reliable up to 100 degrees Celsius

Yes, I know.
But I feel better when the engines are not getting so hot 😉
