Statistics Messed Up

When I go into the overall print statistics, it says that the filament used its over 42 km. Doing the full factory reset doesn't seem to help. Obviously thing does not affect the printer's performance, but it would be nice to be able to track the total filament used accurately.

Re: Statistics Messed Up

Mine has been showing unreasonably high total filament length right from the start, before I upgraded the firmware.

Re: Statistics Messed Up

My printer is now showing 236 metres and a print time of 21 hours.

I think the actual is more like 12KM; no idea how many hours - more like months.

In all honesty, I think this is the first time I have looked at the stats for about 3 months. They were never correct...

Mine seemed correct for at least the first 5-8 hours of usage. Once I started using OctoPrint, I realized the firmware did not count those jobs, but only jobs printed from the SD card directly from the front panel, so I stopped looking at the front panel number.

I do wish it tracked all jobs -- then, any type of usage-based maintenance (lubrication, bearing replacement, etc.) could be more easily tracked.

Re: Statistics Messed Up

Got my MK2 in December (almost 5 months ago) and it currently shows 304km and 23 days on print time... which would work out to be about 13km/print day. Seems a bit off to me unless I really don't understand the what the stats mean.

Re: Statistics Messed Up

it's a well known problem that some firmware releases do have a bug related to the statistics.
at the changelog for the 3.0.10 it's mentioned with "Statistics fixed".
make sure that you use an actual firmware version. either 3.0.10 (release) or 3.0.11-rc1.

dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...
