selftest; fantest let hotend fan

Just received my MK2S kit, quite excited. Took as few days to assemble it. We did it very thoroughly.

Running selftest and first selftest gives an error:
FANTEST LEFT HOTEND FAN
SPINNING
-> NOT SPINNING

we select NOT SPINNING and we get the following error
SELFTEST ERROR!
PLEASE CHECK
LEFT HOTEND FAN
WIRING ERROR!

the left hotend fan is spinning up and down (spinning up for a sec, spinning down, spinning up, spinning down and this keeps repeating).
should this be the case this left hotend fan keep going on and off during the selftest?

the print fan doesn't spin at all at this selftest yet. we tested the print fan with the selftest temp and selected 51 and the print fan works fine.

my conclusion so far is the wiring of the print fan and the print fan itself is fine

my problem is the left hotend fan. I don't know if the fan going on and off is normal behavior.
I also don't know if the wiring and fan is 100% ok.

We assembled the wiring on the electronics board exactly as described in videos/mauls, can send a picture, but is the same as the instruction.

looking fwd to any help to get this great printer get to work?

Re: selftest; fantest let hotend fan

There is a possibility of faulty fan, but that would be very unlikely.

Recheck the wiring; make sure the cables are in the correct sockets and in the correct orientation. And upload a picture.

see photo attached.

cables are in the right socket and right orientation.
is there a way to check the wiring and fan in another way? (just like the print fan)

My selftest also pulsed the fan motor, as it was spinning, even though it was irregular, I answered YES, then the front fan was tested...

Your temperature test seems to confirm functionality.

Running selftest and first selftest gives an error:
FANTEST LEFT HOTEND FAN
SPINNING
-> NOT SPINNING

This is not an error. You should listen if the left fan goes on and off. If it does, turn the wheel and select "SPINNING". The "->" indicates just your selection.

thanks Hendrik.s2 . Indeed, you are right. it is a question and we answered ourselves "not spinning".
we thought it was the answer of the test.

THANKS A LOT!
