Self Test Fail - Endstops Wiring Error Z Axis
Just finished building my I3 MK2S , upgraded the firmware to v3.0.11 and then ran the self test.
Passes on the two fans. The Z axis starts to rise and error is given: Wiring Error Z
I've gone into the Calibration / Show End Stops. X and Y change from 0 to 1 when I operate them, but Z stays at 1 always.
I suspect a bad Pinda?
I did also check the connection on the Rambo, and it is secured. Disconnected and reconnected, just to be sure.
I have access to multimeter and oscilloscope if that can be any use in further diagnosis.
What is the pinout of the Pinda? Maybe I can test it directly.
Also tried swap of Z and Y ends top connectors on the Rambo, and problem moved to Y in calibration test. Did some cable wiggling along whole length of pinda with no change.
Re: Self Test Fail - Endstops Wiring Error Z Axis
I have the same problem on my 1 week old MK2S. But it printed fine (or at least good, lots of adhesion problems) for like 10 prints. So could the pindar probe have failed after just one week?
