If you have a warranty issue, Prusa will take care of you.

If it's not a warranty issue...

You can get the E3D v6 Hotend HERE from E3D themselves. (not USA)
You can get the E3D v6 HotendHERE with free shipping in the USA.
EDIT: Link corrected to proper Mk3 Part (It is with bowden). Thanks jerry.s2

You can get nozzles anywhere, as long as they fit the "E3D v6". Brass is known for "smooth" however if you print with abrasive materials, you might want to look into something harder.

As for the "Extruder" itself. It's a Prusa stepper motor, Prusa 3d printed housing, assorted bits of hardware, and a Bondtech drivegear set, which I can't find in america.

Thank you, sean.
I've had my new MK3 machine running 24/7 since I put it together just after Christmas and I want to assemble bits and pieces that I consider to be "consumables".
I've had a very good experience with Prusa warrenty.
Purchasing small parts from Prusa is a possibility except that the shipping can get expensive.

Thank you for answering my question.

You can get the E3D v6 HotendHERE with free shipping in the USA.

Note that the above link points directly to a 12v Universal (Direct) hot end.

MK3 is 24v Bowden as I recall.

Here is a link to all of their hotends in the USA which include both 12v/24v and Direct/Bowden add on:

Thanks for pointing this out. I edited my original post to point to proper part. 🙂

Re: Replacement Parts In The USA

i know this is an old post but thought i would being it back up for anyone else in the USA since like others i would like to buy the common parts from prusa but $20 shipping is a little steep for an $8 part. Printedsolid.com has been another good place to buy that carry the 24v V6.

Try Capricorn Xs. Dont forget to shape the filament correctly.

Chamfer outside at bottom. Slight flare / taper inside bottom. Longer flare at top.
