Prusa Calculator Input Parameters

Hi
Will one of the Prusa brothers point me to a tutorial or video on how to use the Prusa Calculator for calibration as it relates to the i3?

http://prusaprinters.org/calculator/

I am not fully clear on what each input field is so I would like a clear explication of each. I also would like to know what the values are for the i3 I purchased. For instance what is my Motor Step Angle, microsterpping, pitch presets, leadscrew pitch etc.

Thanks

Hi Tim,
Did you ever find anything out about this? I was wondering the same thing myself.

I was told that tool was made for people building their own printer and it was strongly suggested to rely on Prusa's settings in the driver pack. I am still learning myself so the less I have to tinker with that type of thing the more I can focus on trying to get my prints out. At least that is my theory and for now I am sticking to it. 😀

Re: Prusa Calculator Input Parameters

The calculator count steps per mm, these things are constant if we don't change any part. We use 16 tooth GT2 pulley, 200 steps per revolution motors and 1/16th micro-stepping 🙂 You can try the calculator for yourself 🙂
