I bought printer at prusa3d in december, and first 3 weeks all works fine at 210C
In January i have write your about my problem, for the same PLA filament i need put temp to 240C
I try to “ disconnecting and then reconnecting the power cables to the extruder on the RAMBo board” how your support say me.
Nothing.
Ok i print once a week with 240C ….
But now in april i need to set 255C for fine prints.

All PLS rolls from Prusa3D shop.
I have different colours and for all rolls i need setup 255C.

Could you repair my printer?
What about warranty?

Hi Mikhail

That sounds like a thermistor issue, but it could be something else (nozzle blocked, or PTFE tube damaged).

Can you do a nozzle clean as per the instructions here (from step 3): https://ultimaker.com/en/resources/149-atomic-method

You will have to undo the screws holding the bearing which pinches the filament against the drive gear first.

Can you then please post a photo of the filament after you have pulled it out.

Thanks

Peter

Hi Mikhail,

we thought everything was alright as you didn't reply to our latest email from jan 26th.

Anyways, I see you already sent us a picture thru email this time, and the problem is most likely damaged PTFE tube. No worries, you are covered by warranty and I see Greyson already replied to you.

You can also check if the PLA is really PLA, in last two months I have seen two or three spools mislabeled :-/ PLA won't dissolve in acetone.

BTW: Always, if you believe you have a defective part, send us an email directly. This is true for everyone. It is also mentioned in !!! Before you ask ... Troubleshooting VIDEO! http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-i3-kit-building-calibrating-first-print-main-f6/-before-you-ask-troubleshooting-video--t472.html

💡 If you have defective part, always contact us at [email protected] directly.
