Prints not sticking to bed
Hi
I'm a beginner at 3D printing, I didn't have any problems making the printer and the calibration seemed to go ok but I'm having trouble printing. Everything i try to print starts ok then begins to peel off the bed, usually more on the left side. Ive tried adjusting the temperature of the bed and the nozzle and also the height of the nozzle but still no luck!
I have attached some photos of my most recent attempt. The top left corner is (for lack of a better word) a bit squiffy...
Any advice would be much appreciated!

I basically fell back on using painters tape + gluestick to get consistent results on my MK2S.
PLA always wants to lift a bit at the edges, and PETG wants to randomly get loose (on tiny parts/areas) or stick too well.
With tape the prints sticks every time, and it's also easier to remove the prints afterwards without risking damaging the PEI sheet.
On the flipside though: the surface finish isn't as smooth, you normally get a visible seam along the tape edges and you need to clean the glue residue off afterwards.

if you adjust your first layer properly and clean the heatbed thoroughly (with 99% ipa and sometimes 99% acetone), there is absolutely no need for painter tape and gluestick, neither for rafts or brims (except for very tall objects).
furthermore you won't get any warping or lifting effects at the edges of the pla.
