Print issues , gear bearing with picture

Build my kit , calibrated adjusted my Z, set the correct tension on the extruder per guidelines. First few prints came out fine and then i started seeing this on my gear bearing that's preloaded on the SD card and I can't figure out what's causing this. I've tried different Z settings , different sprint tensioning, recalibrated xyz, readjusted my belts to make sure those are not too tight and not too lose ( watched videos from people that bought assembled printers ) multiple times 🙂 ...... no go . still looks horrible. What am I missing?

Well, in my opinion, there's 3 things contributing:

1) i think you're nozzle is a tiny bit too low. I'd try raising it a bit via Live-Z adjust.
2) Overextrusion possibly... maybe because:
3) Print temp perhaps a bit high. Did you override temps using the printer menu or are you using 3rd Party PLA?

Since this is a presliced file from the sd-card, i guess i'd start with 1) raise your nozzle a bit..

when I raise the nozzle then it doesn't look good and doesn't stick, i've tried in very small increments to a point where i think it's too high. I'm using the prusa filament that came with the printer and haven't readjusted the nozzle temps , all default from the SD card. I will try lowering the temps and see it that helps.....

Maybe try Jeffs Z-offset calibration method.. http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-i3-kit-building-calibrating-first-print-main-f6/life-adjust-z-my-way-t2981.html

I still think thats the primary issue in your picture.
